Upgrade to Milborne St Andrew Water Treatment Centre

Wessex Water is investing to upgrade Milborne Water Treatment Centre, on Milton Road to maintain quality and reliability of the water supply to our customers.

This work will involve installing new equipment to ensure continued compliance with drinking water treatment standards and will start on Monday 1 June 2026 for approximately 10 months.

The upgrade will take place without interruption to local water supplies, with the work and our construction set-up taking place within our existing site on Milton Road at the northern end of the village.

Some work may be visible during construction and there will be additional traffic accessing the water treatment centre at times. There may be some noise disruption while this work is carried, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.

Local water supply services can be used as normal unless we advise otherwise.
